Reservoir Dogs Bloody Days got a release date

A movie named “Reservoir Dogs” by Quentin Tarantino is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, which may or may not be what’s prompted Big Star Games to launch a top-down Hotline Miami-like shooter with a similar name called “Reservoir Dogs Bloody Days”. The probably most outstanding addition to the game is the new time-manipulating rewind mechanic that’s said to mirror the film’s back-and-forth flashback structure.

What’s all in-the-box

You will always control 3 out of 6 playable so-called “Dogs”, which are all named after different colors. For example, a guy with orange hair is called “Mr. Pink” and an older guy with a gray beard is called “Mr. Blue” – that mean, they are not named after the color of their body-parts so to say. There will also be 20 weapons available in-game to fire onto enemies. And the best thing at last: A total of 18 playable heists that serve up plenty of scope for experimentation.

“Starring the six iconic characters from the movie, Reservoir Dogs Bloody Days features insane single-player cooperative gameplay that plays out across 18 different levels, including banks, docks, nightclubs and more,” so says Big Star Games. “The result is a shockingly violent, addictive, adrenaline-filled masterpiece that toys with time, just as Quentin Tarantino‚Äôs landmark film did 25 years ago.”

Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days is due May 18, 2017. More information can be found on its official site.

I for myself hope to get a good Hotline Miami-like shooter because, after Hotline Miami, I really miss an action-packed top-down shooter that still has enough to challenge your mind. So with that in mind, let’s wait and see.
